Kim Jokisch (“Yo-kish”) is a certified executive coach with a passion for helping others reach their potential. Kim is the Founder and Principal of Jokisch Coaching LLC, offering leadership coaching, facilitation, and culture consulting services. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation. Kim also serves on the Board of Directors of Wiley Elementary Foundation, a nonprofit that supports the award-winning International Studies magnet public school.
A creative collaborator, Kim has 25+ years of high-growth experience with proven
expertise in coaching, facilitation, strategy, workplace culture, employment branding, and communications. In 2002 Kim joined Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions to the enterprise, helping grow the company from 500 employees to 20,000+. She led the CEO’s flagship leadership development program, providing individual and team coaching to high-potentials and establishing key company programs including values, recognition rewards, mentoring, and more. Kim was then asked by the CEO to create an internal communications function to drive connection and culture globally. She created the employment branding team, marketing Red Hat as an employer of choice in the technology industry. She also served as a Red Hat career coach, coaching leaders to gain insights and create action plans for their futures. Kim contributed to former Red Hat CEO Jim Whitehurt’s book The Open Organization: Igniting Passion and Performance, and is featured in Harvard Business Review.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Kim was the director of learning and development at The Body Shop. She led a team responsible for training and executive communications.
Kim holds a BA in English with honors from Illinois Wesleyan University, studied abroad at The University of Sheffield, England, and completed her executive coaching studies at North Carolina State University in partnership with Heidrick and Struggles. She is certified in the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0), Emotional Quotient 360 (EQ360), and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments. Kim is a national conference speaker, featured at LinkedIn Talent Connect, International Association of Business Communicators World Conference, Ragan Communications, and Advanced Learning Institute
